How work flows

Four steps, one record, nobody chasing updates.

  1. 1

    Request

Employees report an issue or order a service in the portal — or simply email. Articles appear as they type.

  2. 2

    Route

Categories, groups and automation rules assign the right team; the SLA clock starts on business hours.

  3. 3

    Work

Agents reply, add notes, approve changes or plan the work as a project — with everyone notified by email.

  4. 4

    Resolve & learn

Resolved tickets ask for a rating, answers become articles, and dashboards show what to improve.

Tickets × Projects

When a request becomes real work, it stays connected

Add a ticket to a project and choose where it starts. TaskFlow keeps the ticket and its work item in step both ways — so the requester sees progress without anyone copying updates between tools.

  • Backlog, To do, In progress and Done map to the ticket automatically
  • Resolving the ticket completes the work item — and the other way round
  • Work items with modules, cycles, sub-items, relations and image previews
  • Subscribers get an email for every change

Common questions

What is TaskFlow?

TaskFlow is the PORTAL VII service desk: incidents and service requests with SLAs, problem, change and release management, projects, assets, procurement, a service catalog, a knowledge base and a self-service portal — in one workspace.

How do tickets and projects work together?

Add a ticket to a project and pick a status (Backlog, To do, In progress or Done). The ticket and its work item stay in sync both ways, and resolving the ticket completes the work item.

Can employees use it without training?

Yes. The self-service portal lets people report an issue or request a service, see their tickets, reply, approve requests and rate the help they got. Knowledge articles are suggested while they type.

Does it send email?

Every notification can be emailed — assignments, updates, mentions, approvals and project changes — in branded HTML that works on phones and desktops. Each person chooses which emails they want.
